Stone Field, Newman Cemetery

The Stone Field.

These stones face toward the road. The oldest of these is dated 1700, and is barely legible. The road out brings you to Newman Congregational Church and the other half of the cemetery. The stones that are the oldest look to be made of some kind of red sandstone; only the dates are visible. The white building in the background is the Church.
