The Freeman M. Rose family monument.
A young maiden is seated, her face a mask of sorrow. In her right hand she
holds a laurel wreath, the other, clutched to her breast, a bouquet of violets.
This monument is on the corner of "Monument Row", where most of the larger
monuments are lined up facing the tree-lined street. The base under the maiden
is made of grey marble, with raised lettering for the family names and dates.
The bottom (not shown) is a flat light grey squared base with a larger squared
base on the bottom for balance.
circa 1910.
