Minister's Rest


This monument is white sandstone, and was erected by a friend of Minister Reverend Martin Cheney, Pastor of the First Free Will Baptist Church and Society of Olneyville, Rhode Island. The gentleman that had it erected was C.P. Dyer, one of the founding families of Olneyville. It is close to Rev. Cheney's grave (not shown) and in the Anderson/Dyer/Cheney plot(s), which is fenced off, and close to the pond, shown in the background.
