Historical Johnston Three Families

The chained-off area representing three families.

In this chained off area three separate families are buried here: the Kings (Reuben & Mary, d.1825 & 1826); the Spragues (1816 & 1827) and the Jencks (1838). These are shale markers. Most of the writing on the graves are unreadable and damaged, possibly from vandalism. (Perhaps this was cordoned off to save space in the cemetary for future members.) This area is slightly left of the King monument.
