The grave of Charles Alverson (1789).

This is a relatively small grave, set off from most of the cemetery. Made of shale, it has the Angel's head which was prevalent on most graves of the period. This stone had sustained damage either due to weather or vandalism. Pieces of other graves have been piled on to this one.
