The Arnold family monument.

A young maiden holds a laurel wreath while she ponders the meaning of life. Another laurel wreath is carved under the Arnold name. The laurel wreath, in the time of the Romans and Greeks, was given to the victor in a race or contest. Used on graves, it denoted that the race of Life has finally ended, with the just going on to Heaven. Another beautiful example of the craftsmanship put into each stone and a testament to the family it represents.

Erected circa 1899-1905.
